Great Oak moved up to 85 from 145 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwestern. The Wolfpack climbed the ranks as a result of besting Heritage 43-40.

Murrieta Mesa added to the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Citrus Valley, 42-32. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.

Temecula Valley's dynamic duo of Kyle Plantier and Dominique Maiden proved to be unstoppable against Elsinore, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Plantier threw for 204 yards and 2 touchdowns and Maiden had 94 yards receiving. Kumar Kilambi helped Temecula Valley's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 81 yards.

The Golden Bears' dynamic duo of Plantier and Maiden proved tough for the Tigers to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

He was 11-31 with 2 interceptions.

Nick Fisher was a force in the backfield as Great Oak bested the Patriots.

Plantier put up the best numbers in passing as Temecula Valley fell to Elsinore.

Fisher was the best running back in the league this week. In 24 carries, he ran for 295 yards as Robbie Robinson's team fell to Tony Peralta's team. Teammate Demetric Felton added to the ground attack by rushing for 28 yards.

Fisher was a passing and rushing force as the Wolfpack beat Heritage. Fisher's key target this week was Brandon Presley, who caught 6 passes for 85 yards.

Maiden was the best receiver in Southwestern this week as the Golden Bears fell to the Tigers.

Murrieta Mesa's Peyton Uhl and Davian Neitz have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Uhl has thrown for 849 yards this season, while Neitz, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 19 catches for 272 yards. Murrieta Valley's Michael Robles leads the league in rushing yards with 522.

Justin J. Schaeffer's team was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in the league. The Rams vanquished the Blackhawks 42-32 earlier in the week.
