Preview: Klein Cain Hurricanes vs. Waller Bulldogs
The Klein Cain Hurricanes will head out on the road to take on the Waller Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 64-30, which was the final score in Klein Cain's tilt against the Tigers on Tuesday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Klein Cain in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Waller's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their eighth straight defeat. Their tough 49-27 defeat to Klein Oak might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Waller can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1022nd, while the Panthers are ranked 106th).
Klein Cain has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season. As for Waller, they dropped their record down to 5-27 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Klein Cain beat the Bulldogs 31-24 in their previous matchup back in January. Will Klein Cain repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
