With a playoff win on the line, Starr's Mill rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Union Grove Wolverines 3-0. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Ember Ness paced Starr's Mill's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ness got some help from Katie Gutshall and her 15 assists. Ness was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Despite the defeat, Union Grove had strong showings from Isabella Massey, who had 11 digs and three assists, and Talia Barron, who had ten digs.

Starr's Mill's record now sits at 29-13. As for Union Grove, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 33-8-1.

Starr's Mill has already played their next match (against Pace Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Union Grove does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
