Volleyball Recap: Downingtown East's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

Downingtown East saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Central Dauphin Rams. The loss was the Cougars' first of the season.

While Downingtown East ultimately came up short, they really made Central Dauphin work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Olivia Ofalt paced Downingtown East's offense, picking up four kills. Ofalt got some help from Maggie Mccabe and her 11 assists. Molly Drake controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Downingtown East fell to 6-1-3. As for Central Dauphin, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Downingtown East has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against North Catholic on the 6th. As for Central Dauphin, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Parkland on the 6th.
