Volleyball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Cherokee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tharptown Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in September.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 3-23. As for Tharptown, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Cherokee and Tharptown will both be playing Sheffield the next time they take the court. The Indians will head out to face the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
