Baseball Recap: IMG Academy Gold Takes a Loss

IMG Academy Gold was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pembroke Pines Charter Jaguars. That's two games in a row now that the Ascenders have lost by just one run.

IMG Academy Gold saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cade Hudmon, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

IMG Academy Gold now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, the win got them back to even at 8-8-1.

IMG Academy Gold wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 11-5 victory against Montverde Academy on the 28th. As for Pembroke Pines Charter, they have also already played their next game, a 5-3 defeat against Palmetto on the 28th.
