Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Carl Hayden Community

The North Mustangs will face off against the Carl Hayden Community Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

North's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top against Central by a score of 2-0. That two goal margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

Meanwhile, Carl Hayden Community waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Chargers 8-0. While the Falcons didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-8), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Their offense was hitting McClintock from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Kevin Almendares led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Carl Hayden Community's victory bumped their record up to 5-1-1. As for North, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-6.
