Softball Recap: Berry Falls Short of South Lamar in the Playoffs

Berry and South Lamar squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Berry had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Stallions by a score of 6-5. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Berry's defeat dropped their record down to 21-18. As for South Lamar, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-16.

Berry didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Athens Bible on the 7th. As for South Lamar, they have also already played their next match, a 15-4 defeat against Lynn on the 7th.
