Football Game Preview: Lakewood Tigers vs. Northglenn Norsemen + Official Tickets

The Lakewood Tigers will head out to face off against the Northglenn Norsemen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

It was a proper cat-fight when Lakewood duked it out with Boulder on Friday. The Tigers fell 27-22 to the Panthers. On the bright side, the 22- point performance marked the Tigers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Lakewood might have lost, but man, Caleb Garcia was a machine: he picked up 98 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Northglenn played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Westminster, falling 28-7. The Norsemen have struggled against the Wolves recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Even if they lost, Northglenn's defense still kept up the pressure with four sacks. Westminster's QB won't forget Charles Coronado anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Coronado has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last four times he's played. Another thorn in Westminster's side was Eli Stevens, who picked up a sack and made 14 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Northglenn's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Lakewood suffered a grim 40-20 defeat to Northglenn in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Tigers, Josiah'Ez Stevenson (who rushed for 308 yards and four scores while picking up 18.1 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time.
