Soccer Recap: Andrews Comes Up Short

Andrews was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Liberty Patriots, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 561st, while the Patriots are ranked 270th).

Andrews now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Liberty, they pushed their record up to 12-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Andrews will take on Snyder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Andrews will be up against Snyder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.07 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Liberty, they will be playing at home against Big Spring at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is facing Big Spring at the right time seeing as Big Spring is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
