Softball Recap: Heritage Huskies vs. Knightdale Knights

Heritage put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. They never let the Knightdale Knights onto the board and left with a 21-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for Heritage as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Lydia Bollinger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Bollinger has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. Bollinger was even better at the plate, scoring three runs while going 2-for-2.
