Mitchell entered their tilt with Sickles on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Gryphons get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Given Mitchell's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Sickles are ranked 253rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mitchell's one-goal win came courtesy of Josiah Raygada, who's now up to eight this season.

Mitchell's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Sickles, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Mitchell will head out to face off against Gulf at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sickles, they will venture away from home to challenge Strawberry Crest at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Sickles' defense better be ready for this one: Strawberry Crest have averaged an impressive 3.5 goals per game this season.
