Sayre won the last time they faced Canton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Sayre Redskins blew past the Canton Warriors 57-33. The Redskins have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Sayre's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zacharey Senese led the charge by going 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points in addition to five assists and four steals. Hudson Trump was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 boards.

Sayre smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in ten consecutive contests.

Despite the loss, Canton still got an impressive performance from Ben Fitch, who went 6 of 14 on his way to 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. That was a full 51.5% of Canton's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Sayre pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 25 points. As for Canton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Sayre has already played their next match, a 64-30 victory against Sullivan County on the 20th. Canton has also already played their next contest (against Athens), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
