Sedgwick put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bennington Bulldogs a 14-0 shutout. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Spencer Crumrine, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Hansen, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Sedgwick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .548. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive matchups.

Sedgwick pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Bennington, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.
