Basketball Recap: Live Oak Takes a Loss

Live Oak suffered their biggest loss since January 28th on Thursday. They were dealt a 74-41 defeat at the hands of the Denham Springs Yellowjackets. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Eagles' biggest loss of the season was also their lowest-scoring.

Live Oak is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. As for Denham Springs, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Coming up, Live Oak will be home for the holidays to greet Lakeshore at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Live Oak will need to watch out since Lakeshore has now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Denham Springs will take on Livonia in a holiday battle at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
