New Smyrna Beach lost to University back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Barracudas blew past the Titans, posting a 35-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Barracudas.

New Smyrna Beach found their leader in sophomore Todd Cutler Jr, who rushed for 195 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 9.3 yards per carry. Isaac Fanelli made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

New Smyrna Beach was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as University only rushed for 131 rushing yards.

New Smyrna Beach's defense made their presence known, laying out Christian Maheu. three times. Leading the way was LJ Parks with two sacks. Fanelli got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

New Smyrna Beach now has a winning record of 2-1. As for University, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, New Smyrna Beach will welcome Crescent City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. After each having a week off, University and Flagler Palm Coast will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The contest will give the Titans their first taste of in-conference action this season.
