Basketball Recap: Gaylord Comes Up Short

Gaylord was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 58-50 to the Alpena Wildcats. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 80-41.

Gaylord now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Alpena, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 4-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gaylord will host St. Francis at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alpena, they will be playing at home against Rudyard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
