Soccer Recap: Plainfield East Takes a Loss

Plainfield East lost against Plainfield North back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bengals came up short against the Tigers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Plainfield East can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Plainfield North are ranked 19th).

Plainfield East dropped their record down to 7-8-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Plainfield North, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.
