Bishop Grimes and Voorheesville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Bishop Grimes had to settle for second. They fell 53-45 to the Voorheesville Blackbirds. The Cobras' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Bishop Grimes' loss dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Voorheesville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Bishop Grimes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Voorheesville, they will square off against Cold Spring Harbor at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. Cold Spring Harbor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Voorheesville likes a good challenge.
