Basketball Recap: Ferris Comes Up Short

Ferris was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 20-16 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beloved Community Charter Owls. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ferris' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Beloved Community Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ferris will take on Bergenfield at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Beloved Community Charter, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Academy Charter at 4:30 p.m. on February 21st.
