Baseball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy managed to slip by Grandview the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Legacy lost 16-9 to Grandview on Tuesday. The Lightning were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2022.

Jack Schoenheider was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Kellen Reiser, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Legacy dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Grandview, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Legacy will head out to square off against Skyline at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Grandview, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Highlands Ranch at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
