Soccer Recap: Montgomery Central Takes a Loss

Montgomery Central lost against Fairview two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Indians came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, Montgomery Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Fairview are ranked 22nd).

With the loss, Montgomery Central broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4. As for Fairview, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Montgomery Central will square off against Clarksville on Thursday. As for Fairview, they will challenge Richland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
