Baseball Recap: Belle Plaine Comes Up Short

Belle Plaine has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Saturday. They came up short against Marshall, falling 13-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, Belle Plaine couldn't push the score so high this time.

Belle Plaine moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Marshall, the win (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
