Basketball Recap: Petal Takes a Loss

Petal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a hard 51-37 fall against the Meridian Wildcats. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-53 last Friday.

Petal's loss dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Meridian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season.

As of now, neither Petal nor Meridian have any future games scheduled.
