Basketball Recap: Logan Longhorns vs. Texico Wolverines
It was a good run, but Logan unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 62-57 to the Texico Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-64 on January 10th.

Logan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mason Wallin, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 17 points. The contest was his sixth in a row with at least 17 points. Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Texico, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season.
Logan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 59-55 victory against Fort Sumner/House on the 31st. As for Texico, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-27 win against Eunice on the 30th.
