Basketball Recap: Walnut Hills Comes Up Short

Walnut Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lebanon Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-54 back in January.

Walnut Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Lebanon, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9.

Looking ahead, Walnut Hills will welcome Summit Country Day at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lebanon, they will head out to face off against Loveland at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Loveland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lebanon likes a good challenge.
