Softball Recap: Attica Sets Scoring Season-High Against Warsaw

Attica was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Warsaw Tigers, falling 14-7. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Blue Devils' highest-scoring game to date.

Attica's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Warsaw, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Warsaw is taking a road trip to square off against Perry at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.73 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. Attica will be paying especially close attention to Warsaw's match: after Warsaw faces off against Hornell, they'll take on Attica again at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
