Volleyball Recap: Jackson Academy Makes It 11 in a Row at Home

The home team had won the previous five meetings between Jackson Academy and Lamar, and Jackson Academy kept the tradition alive. Jackson Academy was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Lamar on Thursday. Jackson Academy has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Lamar, too.

While Jackson Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-13.

Jackson Academy's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1. As for Lamar, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
