Volleyball Game Preview: Achievement First Providence Falcons vs. Mt. Hope Huskies

After both having extra time off, the Achievement First Providence Falcons and the Mt. Hope Huskies will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Achievement First Providence is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Hope, who was ranked 14th at the time (Achievement First Providence was ranked 18th). The Falcons fell 3-1 to the Blue Wave on Monday. The Falcons' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Achievement First Providence started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Mt. Hope got the win against St. Raphael Academy on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Achievement First Providence's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Mt. Hope, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
