Softball Recap: Sunrise Mountain Takes a Loss

The matchup between Sunrise Mountain and The Meadows School on Friday hardly resembled the 0-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Miners lost 23-6 to the Mustangs. The Miners haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Sunrise Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for The Meadows School, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunrise Mountain is set to challenge their familiar foe Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, The Meadows School will face off against rival Sports Leadership & Management at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
