Baseball Recap: Kennedy Takes a Loss

Kennedy was the 4-3 winner over Buena Park when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Fighting Irish wound up with the same score they had in their last game (4-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Carlos Tapia made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Nolan Owens, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Buena Park, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 7-10.

Coming up, Kennedy is taking a road trip to take on Orange at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Buena Park, they will head out to face off against Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
