Soccer Game Preview: Cosumnes Oaks vs. Laguna Creek

The Cosumnes Oaks Wolfpack will head out to face off against the Laguna Creek Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

Cosumnes Oaks managed to keep up with Elk Grove until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Cosumnes Oaks lost 3-0 to Elk Grove.

Meanwhile, Laguna Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Monterey Trail on Wednesday and fell 2-1. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 883rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 314th).

Laguna Creek's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Cosumnes Oaks, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10-1.
