Valley Lutheran not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024. Everything went their way against the Carrollton Cavaliers as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's more bragging rights for the Chargers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Carrollton's batters probably weren't too happy with Trey Flood-Captain, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (he gave up two walks).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ben Diener, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was Ryan Pittman, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Valley Lutheran has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs this season. As for Carrollton, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-4.
