Game recap: Northwood High School Football Team bests Laguna Beach

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Sam Silver in the first quarter, Northwood (Irvine, Calif.) was up 14-0 at the half.

The Timberwolves grew their lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. Northwood scored three times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Brian Abel to Addison Damasco.

The result came as a big surprise as Laguna Beach (Calif.) came in ranked No. 489 in the MaxPreps Freeman Rankings for California, while NHS was ranked No. 690.

The win was a nice bounce back for the Irvine school, which lost to Claremont last week, 40-14.
