Softball Recap: Calvary Chapel Eagles vs. Laguna Hills Hawks
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Capistrano Valley Christian, Calvary Chapel was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the Laguna Hills Hawks get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Ariana Boisvert, who gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Laguna Hills off the board. Boisvert has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Bella Bos was incredible, scoring two runs while going 3-for-5. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in May of 2024. Savanna Bias was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-4.
Calvary Chapel's victory bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Laguna Hills, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-8.
Coincidentally, Calvary Chapel and Laguna Hills will both be playing Buena Park the next time they take the field. The Eagles will host the Coyotes at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
