Port Charlotte came up short against Palm Beach Central, falling 15-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Pirates in their meetings with the Broncos: they've now lost three in a row.

Brock Budreau was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season.

Port Charlotte's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Palm Beach Central, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
