Soccer Recap: Naugatuck Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Naugatuck entered their matchup against Ansonia on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Greyhounds came up short against the Chargers, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Ansonia this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on September 8th.

Naugatuck's goal came courtesy of Lily Scanlon, who's now up to eight this season.

Naugatuck's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Ansonia, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Naugatuck will face off against rival Torrington at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Ansonia is set to square off against their familiar foe St. Paul Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
