Miami Trace has gone a perfect 10-0 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Lions at 6:15 p.m. Miami Trace will be strutting in after a win while Washington will be coming in after a loss.

It was a proper cat-fight when Miami Trace duked it out with McClain on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-5, 25-20, 25-5.

Miami Trace can attribute much of their success to Alyssa Easker, who had six digs and four aces, and Keionnie Ackley, who had seven digs and three aces. Those four aces gave Easker a new career-high. Rylee Ferguson also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Miami Trace was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their ace total in three consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Washington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat. They came up short against Chillicothe, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-6, 25-15.

Miami Trace's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 1-20.

Everything went Miami Trace's way against Washington when the teams last played back in September, as Miami Trace made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Blue Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
