West Valley dropped their record down to 7-10 on Saturday, which also ended the team's seven-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Wasilla Warriors by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-7 loss on May 3rd.

West Valley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Finn Lindsey, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

As for Wasilla, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games.

On Wasilla's side, LaLo PaLomares spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on two hits.

As of now, neither West Valley nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
