Soccer Recap: Desert Sunrise Takes a Loss

Desert Sunrise fell victim to Crismon and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Crismon Rattlers, falling 17-0. While losing is never fun, the Golden Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 160th, while the Rattlers are ranked 11th).

Desert Sunrise is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Crismon, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Desert Sunrise will venture away from home to challenge Agua Fria at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Desert Sunrise is facing Agua Fria at the right time seeing as Agua Fria is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. Crismon has already played their next matchup (against Tempe), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
