Fulton's tournament run continued when they took on Strafford on Saturday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

When it comes to explaining why Fulton lost, don't look at Bre Knighten. Despite the final result, she had seven kills, six digs, and three aces. Knighten has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last five times she's played.

Fulton now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Strafford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-3-2.

Fulton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Boonville on the 11th. As for Strafford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Eugene on the 11th.
