Football Recap: Wyoming Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Wyoming unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Sparta Spartans and fell 28-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it seven in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wyoming will head out to take on Homer at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. As for Sparta, they will venture away from home to square off against Wayland at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
