Softball Recap: Wenatchee Comes Up Short

Wenatchee fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Eastmont on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 11-10. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Wenatchee's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Eastmont, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Eastmont beat Wenatchee by a score of 13-2 later that day.
