Harvest Christian extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Sam Velasquez. The Saints were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bethesda Christian Lions on Thursday for which the team can thank Velasquez, who had 22 digs and one assist. Velasquez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

Harvest Christian never let Bethesda Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.

Harvest Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Bethesda Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Harvest Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Nazarene Christian Academy on the 29th. As for Bethesda Christian, they will face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
