Softball Preview: Kaiser Cats vs. Carter Lions
Kaiser has gone a perfect 4-0 against Carter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Cats will look to defend their home field against the Lions at 3:45 p.m. Kaiser will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
On Friday, Kaiser made easy work of Rialto and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Cats haven't had any issues with the Knights recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Aaliyah Davis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits (and not a single walk). Davis was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high.
