Football Recap: Willamette Comes Up Short

Willamette fell victim to Monroe and their airtight defense on Thursday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Dragons. The defeat leaves the Wolverines still looking for their first win of the season.

Willamette's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monroe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Willamette will take on rival Marist at 7:00 p.m. on May 1. Meanwhile, Monroe is set to challenge their familiar foe Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
