Soccer Recap: Gilbert Christian Takes a Loss

After flying high against Arcadia last Thursday, Gilbert Christian came back down to earth. The Gilbert Christian Knights came up short against the Washington Rams on Friday, falling 4-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Knights haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Gilbert Christian moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Washington, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.

Gilbert Christian will face off against Crismon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crismon's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Washington has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Highland on the 4th.
