Baseball Recap: Blackfoot Broncos vs. Idaho Falls Tigers

While Blackfoot's victory against Idaho Falls wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Broncos sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Tigers on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won seven in a row.

Blackfoot got a massive performance out of Easton Cannon, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and two runs. Cannon is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games he's played. Jace Cooper was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Blackfoot was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Idaho Falls only posted a batting average of .136.
