Football Game Preview: Valley View Eagles vs. Millsap Bulldogs + How To Watch

The Valley View Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Millsap Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Valley View comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Friday. Valley View was dealt a 71-6 defeat at the hands of Holliday. While losing is never fun, Valley View can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 1119th, while Holliday is ranked 254th).

Meanwhile, Millsap played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Jacksboro and fell 48-7. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Valley View will have to contain Corey Goen as he made an impact in Millsap's last game. He rushed for 106 yards and one touchdown on only 11 carries.

Millsap's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Valley View, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Valley View took a serious blow against Millsap when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 40-6. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
