Cameron Yoe (Cameron, Texas) grabbed the lead when they threw a touchdown with 11:00 remaining in the fourth quarter and held on to beat
Wall (Texas) 35-14 on Saturday. The score was the final lead change in a back-and-forth contest that featured two lead swaps.
After nabbing the lead on a touchdown, the Hawks went into halftime with a 15-13 lead. The Yoemen took the lead to win the game on a passing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Despite scoring zero points in the third, Cameron Yoe still trailed by two points going into the fourth quarter. But 21 points in the fourth helped CY pull out the victory.
The Cameron school had given up an average of 16.9 points prior to the contest. Wall came in giving up 12.2 points per game this season. WHS had a hard time against Cameron Yoe's offense, who entered the game scoring 42.1 points per game.
The loss comes after Wall defeated New Boston 31-3 last week.
